The entire territory is the largest protected area in Trentino, the Adamello Brenta Natural Park,
a true paradise of biodiversity with many different species of fauna and flora.
The Adamello-Presanella group is the kingdom of ice and water. The Presanella mountains have 7 glaciers, while in the Trentino part of the Adamello there are 17 including the glacier of the Mandrone glacier, the largest in the Italian Alps.

The main element of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park is water.
The flowing rivers, the mirrors of the lakes that reflect the surrounding nature and the impetuous waterfalls characterize the landscape of the Adamello Presanella group and the Brenta Dolomites. There are 48 lakes in the territory of the natural park, 44 are located on the Adamello side, whose rocky composition favors their formation. The other 4 are unique and rare pearls
that embellish the Dolomites. The most famous are the Nardis waterfalls in Val Genova,
the Lares waterfalls and the Matarot waterfalls, in Vallesinella the Mezzo waterfalls and the Alte waterfalls, loved by Princess Sissi, while the Amola waterfall is the wonder in the woods
of the Val Nambrone.
